How to Join the Fraternal Order of Police, Mesa Lodge 9
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Any full-time, sworn law enforcement officer with arrest powers may become a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Mesa Lodge 9. We also accept retired law enforcement officers from any state either by a transfer of membership from your old lodge or as a new member. We are an open lodge and accept members from any Arizona law enforcement agency. Arizona State F.O.P. Bylaws require that members join their local lodge if one exists. If you agency has a local F.O.P. lodge, join that lodge; if not, we welcome all officers. Additionally, the Mesa F.O.P. has an Associate Lodge that accepts civilian employees statewide with the same restrictions of local lodge affiliation. The Associate Lodge also invites any civilian member of the community to join the lodge and support law enforcement. Civilian members of the Associate Lodge that are also employed by a law enforcement agency are eligible for F.O.P. legal benefits through the Arizona Labor Council.
E-mail us if you have questions about membership eligibility.
