Roll Call of Heroes

This memorial page is dedicated to The Mesa police Department officers who paid the ultimate price.... And their families.

Sadly, across the country, many law enforcement officers will lose their lives this year while performing their duties. The Steve Young Memorial Scholarship Program, created by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, is administered by the National Fraternal Order of Police Foundation to assist the spouses of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

We honor these brave officers and their families.

Officer Pollard was killed when he was struck by a vehicle after pulling over a suspected drunk driver on US 60.

During the encounter Officer Pollard had a Motor Officer respond to conduct an in depth DUI investigation of the driver he had stopped.
